DreamWear Fit Pack w/o Headgear (All sizes ship with Medium Frame)

NO PRESCRIPTION REQUIRED

The Philips Respironics DreamWear Fit Pack is a hybrid CPAP mask designed to combine the benefits of a nasal mask and nasal pillows. The innovative design of the DreamWear mask grants users greater freedom of movement and a more comfortable, unencumbered sleeping experience.

The secret to the DreamWear’s success is its unconventional hybrid nasal/nasal pillows design. The DreamWear remains fixed in position under the patient’s nose like a traditional mask, but the seal with the patient’s airway is more similar to a nasal pillows system. This minimal contact under the nose cushion helps prevent the discomfort, irritation and red marks patients can experience with more conventional CPAP masks. Unlike traditional nasal pillows or nasal masks, the hose tubing doesn’t extend from the front of the face. Instead the pressurized air flows from the nostrils through broad-tubed channels flanking the patient’s cheekbones before turning upward to terminate in the hose junction on top of the head.

DreamWear users claim (based off Philips User Preference Questionnaire) the DreamWear improves comfort and fit compared to their previous masks. Philips also touts that DreamWear users experience more freedom of movement throughout the night. Unrestricted by tubes around their neck and face, DreamWear patients can change sleeping positions easier, able to turn from their stomach, side and back with less worry about getting tangled up.

Features:

  • Tubing attachment located on top of the head for added comfort and mobility
  • Nose bridge helps to prevent irritation of the nostrils
  • Sleep patients have rated the DreamWear more appealing, comfortable, and stable than their regular prescribed mask
  • Silicon frame and wraps give a soft feel on the patient’s cheek

In The Box

  • DreamWear Frame (Medium Frame)
  • Three sizes of cushions (S/M/L)

The Philips Respironics DreamWear has been recognized as an innovative product, earning a 2016 iF Design Gold Award in the product design discipline. Satisfied DreamWear users have sung its praises as well. Now you can enjoy the benefits of the DreamWear Fit Pack by ordering online at Sleep Direct.

overhead better than under chin

Having the air hose on top of the head is way better than hanging down under the chin. The only bad thing is it will fit in side the cleaner but you have to stuff it down in there.

Headgear too large

I have been using system for almost 1year. No nasal irritation and easy to sleep. Only problem is I need a small headgear frame, pressure on nerve over ear very painful. Unable to get small headgear. Nasal mask GREAT!

DreamWear

I love this headgear. I was using the nose head gear. It would press on my sinuses and I could not wear it all night, because I was having trouble with my breathing. I hope it holds up.

Amazing comfort

This was recommended by a friend and it is the best! It’s great to be able to custom fit,

with the different frame sizes & nasal pillows. There are good instructions as to the fitting procedure.

Best thing since sliced bread. I'v had serveral different types, but this one is the most comfortable.

I really love this DreamWear Fit pack. The service was fast. It's the most comfortable that I have ever tried. I'm not fighting the hose every night and it is quite.

Thank You

Hard to keep on

I tend to move side to side when I am sleeping and doing so I have a hard time keeping the system on.

Most Comfortable Headgear

Fits smoothly - very soft and comfortable. Did not cause nose soreness like other "nose-pillow" devices. Wish I had this from the beginning.

Dreamwear FitPack

I have used a cpap since 2003. I hated the face mask. Left marks on my face. My new dreamwear is wonderful. Lightweight, no binding of my face. I can even put my glasses on if I need to and not have to remove the Fitpack. I would recommend it to anyone who uses a cpap. Give it a 10.

Better than some.

I guess I am still looking for a model that stays in place during my sleep cycle. Having the air line on top of the head seemed like a good idea, since it makes turning over during my sleep easier. However, there is a tendency for the weight of the hose to tension on the fitting with the headgear, sometimes pulling it loose from my head. The elastic strapping also has a tendency to ride up toward the crown of my head, as well.

I'm beginning to think some sort of chin strap might be needed, that connects to the front portion of the elastic. Hard to evaluate the Dream Wear separate from the head gear.
