The ResMed AirFit P10 For Her Nasal Pillow CPAP Mask with Headgear is both quiet and lightweight. It builds on the success found in the Swift™ FX nasal pillow design. This is a nasal pillow mask with the nasal pillows sealing directly against the opening of the nose.

• Woven-mesh QuietAir™ Venting

ResMed took a fresh and quiet approach to venting exhalation with QuietAir™. The unique woven-mesh defuses the exhaled air to reduce disturbance to the user or bed partner. The AirFit™ is 50% quieter than the ResMed Swift FX.

• Color Coded Dual-Wall Pillow Design

The proven seal and reliability featured in the Swift™ FX is found in the AirFit. The dual wall design supports the seal of the nasal pillow against the opening of the nose. The pillow easily snaps onto the mask frame after cleaning. Pillow orientation is clearly marked with the size indicator and “R” / “L” stamped on the bottom of each nasal pillow set. Additionally, the pillow frame has embossed or raised letter along the top of the frame to help in correct fitting in a darkened room. The AirFit™ For Her includes three color-coded pillow sizes - Extra Small (pink), Small (clear) and Medium (gray).

• QuickFit™ Elastic Headgear

ResMed designed the QuickFit™ Headgear in a two toned elastic fabric requiring no fasteners or clips. It features a split strap allowing the user to easily adjust the fit. Spreading the lower and upper strap apart loosens the fit and moving them closer together provides a tighter fit. The gray side of the headgear is worn facing out, with the pink side facing in. The AirFit™ stabilizer frame slides into the button hole on the gray side of the headgear.

The AirFit improves on the Swift FX Nasal Pillow mask with a quiet and lightweight design with minimal facial contact. It is made up of 3 parts which are easily cleaned and reassembled. The AirFit weighs just 1.6 ounces, 50% less than ResMed Swift FX.

• Lightweight Flexi-Tube

The AirFit flexi-tube is allows for ease of movement during sleep without disrupting the nasal pillow seal. The lightweight hose is designed to avoid drag on the mask and limits seal disruption. The flexi-tube is permanently attached to the AriQuiet™ vent assembly. Total hose length, including swivel, is 17 inches.

ResMed offers a feminine touch for the AirFit For Her with the QuickFit™ dusky pink elastic headgear. The included nasal pillows sizes of Extra Small, Small and Medium meet the needs of a smaller facial structure.

FAQ's

Q:  How do I know if the P10 mask is right for me?  

A:  If you breathe through your mouth during your sleep therapy, it is likely the P10 is not the right mask for you.  If you do prefer to use the P10 but are also a mouth breather, it is recommended to use the P10 with a chinstrap.  

Q:  What sizes are available for the P10 mask?

A:   There are two versions of the P10 mask.  There is the standard version of the P10, which includes cushion sizes small, medium, and large.  Also available is the P10 For Her, which includes extra small, small, and medium size cushions.  If none of these sizes work for you, you may also consider using a nasal pillow liner for a better fit.  

Q:  How often should I replace my mask pillow?

A:  Do not go longer than 3 months without changing out your pillow.  Changing the pillow every 1 to 2 months is ideal as it helps prevent bacteria growth.

Q:  Why is my P10 mask leaking air?  

A:  Be sure that you are wearing the correct size of cushion if the air is escaping during your sleep therapy.  Also, check both the frame and hose for signs of wear and tear. 

Q:  Is it difficult to assemble the P10 mask?

A: The mask comes assembled and takes less than a minute to fit correctly. 

Q:  The P10 mask fits, but needs a little adjusting to fit more comfortably.  What can I do?

A:  Bring the mask towards your nose and fit the pillows inside of your nostrils.  If the cushion does not fit, try a different size. 

Q:  How do you fit the P10 headgear?

A:  The P10 comes with headgear clips to help you get your most comfortable fit.  Also, it is important to not over-tighten the headgear, as this will cause it to stretch out quickly and lose elasticity.  ResMed recommends putting the headgear in cold water to help restore some tension to the headgear if it stretched out.

Q:  How long does the headgear last?

A:  Generally, the P10 headgear lasts anywhere between 6 to 9 months.   

Q:  Does this version of the P10 mask work with the AirMini?

A.  No, it does not. To connect your P10 to the ResMed AirMini, you'll need the ResMed P10 AirMini CPAP Setup Pack.

Q:  How should I clean my P10 mask?

A:  Ideally, the user should clean the P10 mask once a day using warm and soaped water.  Do not use chemicals to clean--any mild soap will do.  Once cleaned, wipe down your mask with a clean towel.  Further, do not dry your P10 away in direct sunlight, as this can damage the material over time.
