Phillips Heated Hose

I received a hose ok, but it was not the one in the picture. The hose in the picture has three prongs and plugs into the machine. The hose I got had no prongs or plug in. Just smooth on both ends. Maybe it is a heated hose, maybe it isn’t. It’s not like the other hoses I’ve purchased before, and not what came with my machine. Everything else on order was correct.

SleepDirect says: Glad to hear your overall order was correct. Please call us at (800) 497-4904 with your concerns about the hose. Thanks!

Cracked Tube

My heated tube cracked at the connection to the mask fitting creating a major air leak impacting the performance of the CPAP. I have used this equipment for less than 18 months. Very disappointed and Phillips Respironics will not replace the tube.

Much better than a regular tube.

First, it is a 15mm tube which I find more comfortable and user friendly. Second, it is a bit heavier and does not retain the folds applied in packaging of previous 22mm tubes that I get from my provider. This means that the tube hangs from the machine in an even manner and does not get in the way. And thirdly, it does heat up the air coming through it. Caution, do not turn up the heat in the H2O reservoir and the tube too high or you will find the water has evaporated long before you wake.
