Q: Can I stop washing my equipment if I use a sanitizer?

A: No. Please continue to follow the manufacturer's directions for cleaning your product.  Sanitizers do not remove dead skin, oil, makeup, grime or other organic materials. 

Q: If I wash my equipment does it have to be completely dry before sanitizing?

A: It is recommended that for the best cleaning and sanitizing results for the equipment to be dry.

Q: Is there a smell from using sanitizer?

A: Yes, there can be a slight smell to using any sanitizing product. To reduce and eliminate any smells make sure the mask is clean of any debris before sanitizing.  If a smell continues, wash the mask with a cleaner such as a perfume free soap and set the machine to Sanitize and Smart Dry application to remove the smell.

Q: How exactly does the UV-C light of the Paptizer kill germs?

A: When you expose a microorganism to UVC lamps, the light will penetrate through the bacteria/germ cell wall and alter or disrupt the bacteria/germ cell's DNA.  When this process occurs the bacteria/germ cell's growth and reproduction stops, which in turn prevents its ability to spread.
