Q:  How long does the AirTouch F20 mask last?

A:  The memory foam cushion should be replaced every 30 days or when the cushion begins to show signs of deterioration.  The F20's headgear, frame, and elbow should be replaced about every 6 months.

Q:  What cushion sizes are available for the AirTouch F20?

A:  Available cushion sizes for the AirTouch F20 are small, medium, and large.

Q:  What is the difference between the AirTouch F20 and the AirFit F20?

A:  These masks are identical in terms of the elbow, frame, and headgear.  The only difference between the masks is the cushion.  The Airtouch F20 uses a memory foam cushion while the AirFit F20 has a silicone cushion. The difference between these cushions is important because the AirTouch cushion is softer and provides a better seal, but it is likely to wear out faster than the AirFit cushion.

Q:  Is the AirTouch F20 cushion interchangeable with the AirFit F20 mask?

A:  Yes, you can swap cushions between the AirTouch F20 and the standard AirFit F20 mask.

Q:  What is the difference between the AirFit F20 and the AirFit F20 for Her?

A:  The F20 for Her has a more narrow frame and allows for a small cushion or medium to be used; however, you may not use a large cushion with the F20 for Her frame.  Also, the F20 For Her comes with pink and gray headgear that is slightly smaller than the standard blue/gray headgear.

A:  Yes, you may use the Airtouch F20 with any CPAP machine.

Q:  If I use this mask with the AirMini, am I required to buy the setup pack?

A:  Yes, to use this mask with the AirMini you must have the setup pack.

Q Can I wear glasses or watch TV while wearing this mask?

A:  Yes, the AirTouch F20 was designed so the frame of the mask doesn't sit above the eyes, allowing the user to watch TV or read a book.  

Q:  What's the best way to clean the AirTouch F20 mask?

A:  Because the AirTouch cushion is different than the standard silicone style of cushion, you'll want to wipe down the AirTouch cushion with non-alcohol-style wipes.  You do not need to wash the AirTouch cushion with standard soap and water.  The remaining parts of the mask (frame, elbow, and headgear) can be cleaned with mild soap under warm water.  Do not dry out your sleep equipment in direct sunlight.  Instead, wipe everything down using a clean, dry towel.

Q:  What's the best way to take my mask apart for cleaning?

A.  First, remove the elbow from the mask's frame.  Next, unclip the magnets and undo the upper headgear tabs.  Remove the strap away from the frame followed by the cushion.

Q:  How do I reassemble my mask?

A:  Attach the frame to the cushion by lining up the circular openings.  Push these together until they are in place.  Next, make sure that the ResMed logo on the forehead faces up and outwards.  Attach the magnets and then thread the upper headgear into the frame's slot from the inside.  Lastly, fold the straps over so that they are secured.
